Building Classical Guitars

I build guitars that reflect my preferences in the Classical guitar. I'm not a fan of "great guitar tone" i.e. woody, soft, round echoey, Spanish. I am more interested in characteristics that lend themselves to the production of an accurate portrayal of what the composer intended. If you use sound techniques, fine woods, and a sensible design any given guitar will produce a good "sound."

I am more interested in: a sharp and clear onset, a long and poetic decay, a useful balance of bass and treble, consistency of response, a wide tonal pallet, clear and strong orchestration, a wide volume dynamic, and last but not least, a love affair between the trebles and the basses.
